Luxury Item is an ongoing project exploring women's personal experiences with trauma surrounding women's health.
We are not associated with a particular gallery or space and our goals remain flexible as the ideas and projects of new voices are heard.
We refer to our creators as creatrix as -trix is the feminine latin suffix while -tor is masculine.
After our 2020 show we have had interest from many artists, visual and otherwise, on creating an expanded show; they have stories they want to tell.
Our aim for 2021-23 is to show again in person and expand online to build a comunity and create a bigger platform for having these stories heard.
We are exploring available grants and accept in-kind contributions. You can support our members by following their socials today and buying their art whenever you can.
If you are interested in sharing, contributing or just keeping up to date please follow the link to our contact page or follow us on instagram: @luxuryitemshow

We would like to acknowledge the Gadigal people who are the Traditional Custodians of this land. We would also like to pay respect to the Elders past, present and emerging of the Eora Nation and extend that respect to other Aboriginals present.
Sovereignty was never ceded. |
